Is it important for workplace mediators to have an effective case-management process?

Yeah, it’s a big part of it. I think any workplace whether they’ve got internal mediators, it’s important to have an internal case-management system what works really well too. But it’s managing, the confidences, it’s managing the expectations, it’s appropriate reporting and disclosure. The whole thing is embedded within the case-management system.


If we’re comparing the two, the same arguments can apply to commercial. But it’s just a harder door to prop open, and it’s something where there are people are being discouraged on one side from using it and they’re being encouraged by the likes of us on the other side, you’ve got a bit of a battle going on there
